Stereo Active Speaker
Following the development of this product took more than two years, since is a complex project in terms of software, hardware, acoustic and production. Duetto is a High Fidelity Stereo active speaker, intended for being used with every possible device, from the most technological such as mobile phones, computers, TVs, to the most analogical such as turntables or CD players.

Aesthetic Design
The aesthetic is focused on the 45° veneered multilayer all around the cabinet to follow the core design values of the brand Sonus farer. Leather top and front baffle are underlined by cromed borders to emphatize the hirtorical shapes of the brand: "LUTE SHAPE" and "VOICE OF SONUS FABER". Users can control the device by an external remote control, by the touch UI on the top or by connected devices such as phones or TVs.
Acoustic Design
Classic configuration for Stereo systems, but Woofer and Tweeter has been fully engineerized in Italy to give wider dimensionality and immersion. Together with amplifier, relatively Class D and AB, drivers performances rises the most powerfull ranges for lower frequwncies and the most rafinate for higher ones. Heat Dissipator has been designed with a custom pattern to achieve the most wider dissipation surface as possible and to joint amoniously the vent tube inside. Also internal component has been designed in details, even if are not visible, not for an aesthetic purpose but from an acoustic perspective. Example of this are: the vent tube to avoid internal refractions and the woofer's organic basket to be more free of perturbation. Last but not least, the tweeter wavwguide has been designed together with the Acoustic Team to empawer vertical and horizontal directivity.
Project Leading
For this project I followed and coordinated all phases, from the concept to production and after-sales support, including software, hardware and web development, patents, quality control, supplier management and manuals. The result was very satisfying, also greatly appreciated by journalists and sector magazines.
