Jungle Market

Jungle Market is a supermarket for loose products, where you can appreciate fresh and healthy km0 food. It was designed for young city people looking for new experiences and sensations. Entering in, ambients are predominantly black and white, in this way, at first sight foods will stand out thanks to their colors. The design of the dispensers, and not only that, was conceived based on the concept of void, underlining the outline, and giving the visibilty to the content (heart) and container (wrap). It's the food itself that is showed, not the packaging as on usual supermarkets. The result is a supermarket divided into 6 departments: the first is the shop that is an area dedicated to the sale of reusable containers and accessories for their transport, a first part of dispensers of various foods arranged for phases of the day, the fruit and vegetables zone, the hand-made area and finally the fast checkouts.

Dispencers

4 different type of dispencers have been designed. The first for liquids, one for solid foods of small dimensions (such as cereals, flour, salt, etc.), one for vegetables and one with manual extraction for larger solid foods (such as pasta, chocolate, biscuits, etc.). Spices will be placed here and there, useful for cooking delicious dishes. Dispencers will be provided with touch screens to activate or stop the supply, to acced to the product information, and then to charge the cost to the customer card. The bottom of dispencers are designed to place harware circuits for the touch UI and the refrigeration system. The last dispenser is the one designed for fruit and vegetables, hung from the ceiling to simulate the action of picking the fruit from the tree.

Shop

To the right of the entrance there will be a shop where will be possible to buy backpacks and containers. The backpacks have been designed starting by a simple rectangular bag that can be closed thanks to a button clip on a ribbon. Furthermore, this rectangular shape allows easy entry and exit of the containers one above the other. A backpack is the best solution since the focused target often travels by bike or uses public transports, so is clearly the best answer for small trips to buy fresh food every day.

Containers

The supermarket will give customers the opportunity to buy reusable containers of three different sizes to transport the products home and use them there too to keep them in the pantry thanks to their stackability. All of them have been designed for liquids (sciable plug), and for solids given the second opening with a larger diameter. The catcing aesthetic will allow to custumers to use directly in their kitchen. Given the standard thread they can be closed with various types of dispensers and therefore be used for various functions.

Lab

Almost at the end of the road, there will be a laboratory with related equipment, where customers will be able to create their own preparations thanks to the non-prepackaging of the products on sale. They will be able to create their own personalized and unique coffee taste by grinding and combining the various beans and to create their own bar of soap with the user's favorite fragrances. Preparation instruction will be displayed for users. Also a sharing point, will allow users to share their own recepites, but not only, hang photos of their garden, recommend a book or experiences. Comunity is the base of progress.

Register

The route is ended with checkouts, where you don't have to wait for the queue and go through all the products again as on existing supermarkets. All customers have to do is swipe your customer card into the appropriate reader where the quantities for each product have already been charged by dispencers. Then just pay. There will also be the possibility of having a prepaid card, in such a way as to definitively avoid the tills: enter, pay out and exit.
